Some problme

Using Hermes with FIX

Some problme

Postby mabujaber » Tue Jan 26, 2010 2:16 pm

Hello,
I'm very interesting in the new feature you added in hermesJMS for FIX protocol. I tried to open log file in hermesJMS. Inside the log file 29 NewOrderSingle but when I open it in HermesJMS I found only 6 NewOrderSingle. I used filtration like this MsgType='D' and tried to find it manually but no different.

Hi Moayad,

I've fixed this and the build is here: http://hermesjms.com/patches

http://www.hermesjms.com/jira/browse/HJMS-115

I had also previously forced FIX message validation, now I've stopped this and your messages are now viewable. All your application level messages have invalid checksums, perhaps the log was modified in some way to change sensitive information?

Let me know how you get on!

Regards,

Colin.

Yes I did, but I faced the issue before any modification !! I found order in the original log file have different checksum!

The stranger thing is quickfix accept this order without any exception or rejection. really weird!
